day III parental disgression

We stayed the night last night in the tragic basement where Andy and Cubby from Tragic Ends live.
Woke up this morning to some fuckin parrot as omar stated
anyways.....

show ruled.
It was at Andy's parents house and the garage was packed out once again.
good show after good show, we're gonna get spoiled by the time were back.
After the show we went to Lane splitters pizza in Berkeley.
I suggest everyone go there if your in the area. We went 45 miles out of our way just go to eat there and it was amazing the greatest pizza you will ever eat.
We dont have a show tomorrow Sacramento fell through so were gonna just stay in Forest Hills for a night then head to Reno.

Day I & Day II of the GET WYLDE TOUR '09/'10

We have been road warriors for the last two days now and tour has turned out exceptionally well. Our tour kick off in Visalia has turned out reall well. Thanks for everyone that came out and thanks to Until Your Heart Stops and especially Strike to Survive and Reach for putting up with two days of playing with us and stupid wrestling/penis jokes.

Yesterday we played in Salinas, which turned out to be a kickass show. People know how to party there as shown by this picture:

There was a couple of problems with some local band that had some local rock star attitude and proceeded to leave holes in the wall. It was pretty whack but they go kicked out soon enough and the show turned out pretty well. We want to thank Gabe and Losing it! for the show and all the kids for coming out and buying some of our shirts to help us on gas moneys.

Our next show is in Antioch (hip hop heads best recognize Woodie) tonight. We actually came here after the show in Salinas and got woken up real damn early by some parrot that lives in the house on top of the basement we're staying in. It screaming and screaming, adding some weird mumbles, withs profanity along the way and something about motor oil. This is pretty fucking scary and I never want to sleep anywhere about 100 feet away to a parrot ever. I might generally dislike them now as after this morning. SO WHAT?

Tour kickoff Show! We leave Sunday

First and foremost, we hope you are having a happy holiday season with people you like or at least can tolerate.

Here's a couple of the fliers out and we are waiting on a couple more. We are excited to go and will keep track of tour hopefully with blog entries and pictures. To send us off, you should go to this show tomorrow! This also Freakout's last Visa show and many touring bands are coming to play here. This is a stacked Fresno-worthy show with many good up and coming touring hardcore bands. VISA ROLL OUT.

Also, Corey and I (Omar) are taking a day off tour to play with Harm's Way at the CYC. Cory will be playing in Necrowizard that night and I will be playing in the last reincarnation of Freakout! (On My Last Nerve.) Check out the flier and the show (the last one at the bottom.)

DECEMBER SHOWS AND TOUR

Yesterday was the first time we have ever played 2 shows in one day and both were rad. We had to leave the visalia show as soon as we played to make it to Fresno on time. Major bummer considering we missed freakout!'s set which by the way are a band again check um. December is gonna be a rad month for shows we are playing with one of my faveorite bands weekend nachos on the 4th at CYC. we are also playin with dangers and let live on the 17th both are gonna be rad shows. we are all super stoked about touring again and so far booking has been way easyer then last time but we still need help with a LA show on January 4th and a show in sacramento december 29th so if anyone could help us out we would really apreciate it. The tour kick off show is going to be at corys house on the 26th so visa kids roll out!

also cali love fest is this coming weekend so everybody should try to make it out its a good line up for really cheap. Our good friends from salinas Losing it! and spinal breaker are playing so make sure you check them out.

We had a great practice today with cory on drums for the first time and jared on 2nd guitar and jello shots hahaha anyway i'm pretty sure i speak for everyone when i say i have a good feeling about this. We also started working on a new song got it about 3/4's done if i remember correctly, sounding pretty good look out for it we might just play it at the Folsom show and if not Weekend Nachos show for sure, actually you'll be hearing at least 2 new songs at the weekend nachos show so come out and rage it December 4th at the CYC. So we haven't posted in a while here's whats new, Jared will be stepping down as drummer after the month of December to focus on school he will be playing second guitar on shows when he can. Cory will be taking his place on drums. We played a show in Woodlake last saturday which didn't go over to well for us since we haven't really practiced in a while due to a number of issues, people seemed to like it though which we were glad. Props to that band from Bako i never got their name, Fight to the Finish, and WSJ for tearing it up that day and making it worth staying out there since it was all pretty whack. We will also have some new material very very soon we're working on 2 new songs so look out for those at our upcoming shows. End of tour

Bakersfield was or last date of tour and it couldn't have ended any better thanks to Jasen and all the bako dudes for a rad show and an intense pillow fight and couch dives for days. it was cool sleeping in a bed last night but im way over it and cant wait to tour again. A big thanks to anyone who came out or helped us out in any way and a big thanks to midnight venom for making this tour rad will see you guys again this winter. ohh and omar why you always gotta talk shit? i wasn't hating and fuck recognition and scene points.

Well this blogspot hasn't been updated in a while but we haven't really had access to internet until now. We've had many things happen to us, mainly funny or enlightning, but I'll cut to the chase.

We played in Sacramento on Friday and it was great. The Branch St. house is really keeping it alive in the Sacto punk scene and many people should do what they can to keep it running. The promoter Scott was nothing more than hospitable and we thank him for the fun show and for hooking us up. Please check out Aggrochrash, Side Affects, Exhile and DCOI!, as they are great bands both local and far trying to do what we are.

The next day we had a day off and decided to go to Berkeley and went to 924 Gilman to go see Sabertooth Zombie, Skin Like Iron, Downpresser, Worship and Secret People. There was so many stage dives during Sabertooth! I stage dove and landed hella hard on my back. Kudos to Diego and Zakk for stage diving and Zak needs to stop being a bitch when other handicapped people come into the venue and take his handicap punk scene points away, especially if it's a 60 yr old lady in a eletric scooter and getting down more than he does.

Salinas was on Sunday and the show was a pretty legit. It felt more like a bunch of people hanging out than a show really. We just hung out, played with a snake kept dangerously close to the pit in the garage, and people were hella DTF (Down to Frisbee.) There are some down people in that scene and I think they should keep on doing what they do and you guys should check out Moth Voices, Antartica and our homies Spinal Breaker. Big thanks to Mario for the show and the empty house to smoke out hella bud and sleep in.

Now we're in Santa Cruz and have been since yesterday and have a show today at Streetlight Records at 3 pm. Cory, Diego and Zakk slept in Santa Cruz with a metalhead they had a short encounter with in a pretty punk/metal/alternitave themed coffee house and the rest of us slept with a really cool girl named Diana and her dog Ziggy at her house on her floor. This is wayyy better than the RV stop we slept at outside of Salinas after Berkely. That's for sure by a long shot.

After today, we have a day free and afterwards head to LA to play in La Habra with Blocked Up and others.

Expect more updates soon. We come back on Saturday and we really miss all you guys. I'm turning 20 tomorrow. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck, let's hella party.

Our first

Tour is going great so far. Midnight Venom has been on the road since Monday and they said that the shows have been poppin' ever since the shows CYC with Crooked Ways. We are now caught up with them after our tour van explosion here in Sacramento waiting to play our first tour show at the Branch St. house tonight with other touring bands.

The only reason we even got to go ont this tour is because our friend Marco decided to drive us personally and tag along with us on our trek because he's hella down with gnarly situations and good times. Our next show is on Sunday in Salinas with Spinal Breaker but not before having a day off tomorrow and going to Bezerkly to catch Sabetrtooth Zombie at the Gilman.

The days off are sort of a nuiscience, but it's beats being home by a long fuckin' shot. This hectic touring life style I actually find serenity in. I could do this for a long time.This blogspot will be updated as it goes along, so keep in touch.

This friday we are recording a 6 song EP this will be benny's last release with us. Now where just getting everything ready for our 2 week west coast tour with our good friends midnight venom. The van still needs a little work but will have it done in time and will have shirts and CD's to. june 14th is the tour kick off show and after party in visalia at Stevie's house. visa kids roll out lets rage this shit!

Orosi gig/ VCHC show come out tomarrow

Last friday we played a house show in orosi with midnight venom and and i gotta say it was radder then any of us thought and us playing super faded made for one our best sets ever. Kids went off probably because of wear the show was at and if you know the valley you know orosi isnt really a hot spot for shows but will gladely play there again any time.


Tomarrow where playing at all pro with plead the fith and im desperation from sacramento and where super stoked because its not that often legit hardcore bands come through Visa so come out and dive off shit. And if you havent herd of um check them out.

What about last night's show (March 27th)? It was pretty awesome. SFJ, Spinal Breaker, Manic Relapse always bring it. Fuck narcicisstic assholes though. As you all should know, the valley isn't blessed with many venues at all and some people who claim to support their areas music are often the ones to shoot their scenes in the foot by doing stuff like drinking in front of venues, littering, and vandalism. While some of us have come to think that being "punk" is becoming a reincarnation of Sid Vicious and not helping out your scene by actually helping places get shut down with your bullshit, the truth is that for anything long term to work, this all must become a communal effort in where everyone must put in some effort if they expect to play at more places.

Give me a break. You wouldn't want someone to litter your house and to disrespectfully deface it after you have asked them to not do so, especially if you were renting it since the damage can get you kicked out of your house. The same apply to other places that are not your home, especially venues. They allow you to play there or allow your favorite bands to play at an all ages area and some people go back and disrespect something that is trying help your local scene out? If you wanted to be such a "rebel," go and throw rocks at a police station. Times have changed because of people like that and people need to realize it.

We dare to go- March 17th

We are going to play as 3 piece (Zakk's going on vacation) with Royal Monsters (ex- Where Eagles Dare) in Fresno on the 17th of this month. That lands on a Tuesday so all you cool, non-curfew kids try to make it out. This is our first time playing Fresno as this band and also the first time we play at the CYC. We also play there this month with Bruise Violet, Spinal Breaker, Infected Fungus and more on the 27th.

-We have some new artwork done by our friend Morgan. Hopefully we will use this for our first/future 7''/12''/cd or cd-r (most likely) recordings. It's pretty bad ass and most importantly, local. If any other local artists want to do artwork for this band, please feel free to do something and we will try to use it for future releases.

We're playing a really rad show at CYC with Bruise Violet from LA; check 'um out, they rule. The CYC is a really rad spot to play and a big thanks to Chris for getting us on the bill. Come out and dive off everything.

1st show

was great. In front of a small crowd since everyone was not yet there, but it turned out real well. Plank Walk tore it up hard and everyone else had good sets.

Damaged(Zak,Omar) had our final show last night also and it didn't turn out what what we hoped for. It's probably best to remember good times, not the bad and accept the means to this end as unavoidable and not necessarily bad.

We should have music recorded eventually and hopefully a myspace soon for this band. The myspace will only feature show dates and music. Most news on the band will be posted here, so keep on checking back.

Getting there..

We have recently tried out our friend Benny to play drums and it seems to work out well. We are finally a full line up. and already have a few shows lined-up to play, haha.

Try and make it. This should be a good show, as Plank Walk are coming all the way from Modesto and this might be Damaged's last show. Who knows? An end always prompts a brand new start.

The beginning

With Damaged coming to an end, I, Omar, and Zakk are determined more then ever to start a band that will go on to do greater things. This is where LIFELESS comes in. I'm super stoked on this band and I know we're definitely going to do something with this band. We should be playing by next month.
