What about last night's show (March 27th)? It was pretty awesome. SFJ, Spinal Breaker, Manic Relapse always bring it. Fuck narcicisstic assholes though. As you all should know, the valley isn't blessed with many venues at all and some people who claim to support their areas music are often the ones to shoot their scenes in the foot by doing stuff like drinking in front of venues, littering, and vandalism. While some of us have come to think that being "punk" is becoming a reincarnation of Sid Vicious and not helping out your scene by actually helping places get shut down with your bullshit, the truth is that for anything long term to work, this all must become a communal effort in where everyone must put in some effort if they expect to play at more places.
Give me a break. You wouldn't want someone to litter your house and to disrespectfully deface it after you have asked them to not do so, especially if you were renting it since the damage can get you kicked out of your house. The same apply to other places that are not your home, especially venues. They allow you to play there or allow your favorite bands to play at an all ages area and some people go back and disrespect something that is trying help your local scene out? If you wanted to be such a "rebel," go and throw rocks at a police station. Times have changed because of people like that and people need to realize it.
